The opening of Millbray House welcomed Ashcroft's founding residents for a memorable morning of connection, conversation and the unveiling of a bespoke community artwork destined for Club Croft.
There are moments that mark the beginning of a community long before the first home is completed.
The opening of Millbray House was one of those moments.
More than 50 founding residents of Ashcroft joined us to celebrate the opening of the community's sales gallery, a thoughtfully designed space where future homeowners can take their time discovering life at Ashcroft, explore the homes, finishes and vision for the community, and experience the Millbray difference in a setting that reflects the quality and care behind every detail.
The morning was also an opportunity for something even more meaningful.
Over a relaxed high tea, future neighbours met one another for the very first time. Conversations were shared, friendships began to form, and the sense of community that will define Ashcroft started to take shape. It was a reminder that communities don't begin when people move into their homes—they begin the moment people feel they belong.
Adding to the occasion, we were delighted to welcome Gold Coast artist Tania Blanchard, who has been commissioned to create a bespoke artwork for Club Croft, Ashcroft's exclusive resident lifestyle precinct.
Inspired by the landscapes and natural beauty of the region, the piece has been designed to become a lasting part of the community. Yet its most meaningful feature was intentionally left unfinished.
Each founding resident was invited to contribute their own mark to the artwork, creating a shared expression of the people who are shaping Ashcroft from the very beginning. When it is installed in Club Croft, it will stand not only as a beautiful work of art, but as a lasting reminder that this community was created together.
As Ashcroft continues to take shape, so too does Club Croft. We're looking forward to sharing an exciting update on the resident lifestyle precinct very soon.
